Since working at the Red Onion Café I have been given the opportunity to do some really cool things. I have had the chance to work at the 4th of July fireworks for Monroe, OH which was amazing. However I have checked off another “things to do in my life.” The Red Onion Café recently had the 107 radio station stop by because they have heard such wonderful things about us. When the stopped in to grab a bite to eat they decided to interview some of the staff of the Red Onion. Since I was the waitress I got to do an interview on air!
I was a little nervous at first, after all this radio station reaches thousands of people. The disc jockeys were so nice; they asked questions about the Red Onion, what it was like to work there, and other goofy radio questions. By the time the interview was done, I had so many nerves running through me I could honestly say I had no idea what I said! The fun part about getting to do the interview was my friends called me the next day and told me they heard me on the radio! How many people can say they have done that?
